Over time pain muddles our senses.

When we are in the struggle, it isn’t easy to see what is really going on.

Mixed together, the pain from the past and the challenges of the present overwhelm us.

We become lost – consumed with hopelessness and trapped in a cycle of despair.

The effects of trauma look different in each of us.

Andy, Rose, and Sonia are examples of three people with different experiences and lives who are each
confronting the trauma that has collected over time.

Andy is a handsome, successful 43-year-old. He identifies with his work and avoids emotional connection and commitment with his girlfriend. Andy attempts to control his environment by controlling his girlfriend and his emotions.

Love feels terrifying given his history of childhood abuse. He only feels comfortable expressing anger and avoiding emotional intimacy. On the inside, he is lonely. He uses substances to help control and mask his emotions because facing his feelings scares him. He copes by working more, but his house, money, and success don’t make him feel better.

Rose is a successful manager in a loveless marriage. As a child, she always felt pressured by her family to be the one that takes care of everyone else. Now, she finds herself alone in her marriage, constantly focusing on her partner’s needs and coworkers’ needs, just like she has done her entire life.

She feels like her insides are being ripped apart with stress and anxiety but doesn’t understand why.

Sonia is a beautiful young nurse. As she sits at a table looking around at her loved ones and friends, laughing, smiling, enjoying dinner, all she can feel is tightness in her chest and an uncontrollable urge to get away. Trying to fight the relief she’ll feel when she can just be alone, knowing how “crazy” she will look to her friends to leave when everyone is having such a great time. She feels like she might actually be “crazy.”

Sonia experienced childhood sexual assault. Her mother knew about it but didn’t step in. Now, unknowingly, Sonia feels like she’s “not enough” and unsafe around people who love her. Her friends and husband don’t understand why she can’t “just relax and enjoy life.”

What do you want to heal?

Stress responses rarely look or feel how we may expect, and it’s hard to identify the pain we experience as a normal response to processing difficult events in our lives. Events like the ones Andy, Rose, and Sonia experienced can change our brains, relationships, postures, beliefs, and how we perceive the world, ourselves, and our loved ones.

It can be difficult to heal these unseen aspects of ourselves.

Sometimes, we only know what we don’t want to feel anymore.

It’s time to step into finding out what you desire in life. It’s important for your heart, mind, body, soul, and life path to embrace a more authentic, fulfilled reality.

Journey to Joy.

Our desires are there for a reason. They help us find our path.

Permitting ourselves to move into what feels authentic and pleasurable, whether changing simple habits or setting clear, healthy boundaries to protect ourselves, sets us free and uniquely honors ourselves.

It’s time to trust yourself again and step into the life you are meant to live.

Let’s partner in connecting you back to your wisdom, voice, and power.

Welcome! I’m Nicole.

I am so glad you are here!

I know it has been a journey. But you’re here for a reason and a purpose.

I help people heal and connect with themselves, their bodies, and their rhythm. After working with clients, I often hear, “I just feel like myself again.” This is music to my ears.

I believe in you. My job is to help you see all the sides to yourself, understand what you have already overcome, destroy habits that don’t serve you, and return to your direction. I’ll give you the tools to grow and transform.

Therapy is about us working together. I can’t wait to collaborate with you.

More About Me

Transformation Happens

Andy learned how to identify, feel and express emotions. He identified unhealthy relationship patterns he learned in childhood and identified new healthy relationship habits. He is now engaged.

Rose left her 20+ year marriage and reported she hasn’t been happier. She is currently seeing a new person and was promoted again! This time Rose sets boundaries at work and in her relationship. She reported she actually feels “grounded,” and she is learning to trust her intuition.

Sonia processed her childhood trauma, allowing her to set clear boundaries and ask for what she needs in relationships. This allows her to feel safe and have the confidence to have a little fun.

I am here to embark on this journey with you.

I am looking forward to connecting with you, learning about your life, discovering your goals and strengths, and sharing your journey toward health and healing.
